1. What makes the service offered by Neamedia so unique?

We offer our customers a “turnkey” solution. Using a presentation of your original idea and the end product you have in mind, we put forward the most suitable technical solutions and materials.

We manage the entire project, from the design stage right through to item delivery, including prototyping, mass production, packaging and shipping.

We assign a specialist team to your project, depending on its individual characteristics, drawing on our network of approved industrial and logistics partners. You will also be allocated a dedicated advisor who will update you on how your project is progressing and enable you to approve each intermediate stage of production.

2. What are the most important stages when making an item?

1 – Design

This is undoubtedly the most important phase when it comes to the successful completion of a project. Graphic studio, sculpture, 3D modelling, 3D scanning, prototyping…. just some examples of the expertise that Neamedia can offer. You will be given the opportunity to approve each and every one of the crucial stages in production, to ensure that the final item ties in perfectly with your objectives.

2 – Batch production and mass production.

Once the prototype has been approved, we then begin batch production, through our network of industrial partners selected for their particular skills, with a view to achieving the best quality/price ratio possible. We strongly believe in the importance of a manufacturing process that respects both people and the environment. Having worked together with our main industrial partners for many years now, we are able to pass on the benefits of our considerable learning curve in order to ensure that your project is a success. All our products are subject to checks and tests carried out by recognised independent laboratories, in order to ensure that they comply with the very strictest legislation.

3 – Packaging

You will be given the opportunity to manage the creation and printing of the packaging for your end product. As an alternative, we can also deliver "intermediate" products that are ready to be packaged on your own logistics platform.

4 – Logistics

We make every effort to ensure that our products are delivered on the scheduled date and that they are fully compliant with the logistics specifications issued. We possess extensive experience of import operations and have our own logistics platform that can be used to deliver “turnkey” products under the best possible conditions and to anywhere in the world.

3. What materials do you use to make your items with?

Plastic injection, resin, fibreglass, metal, ceramic, bronze... the list goes on! We boast a wide spectrum of skills that our customers are invited to access. Once we have discussed your project and analysed your specific requirements, we will suggest the most appropriate materials to meet your qualitative targets whilst respecting your budget.

4. What elements do you require in order to provide a quotation?

In order to establish an accurate idea of price, we generally request the following elements:

  • a visual of the item to be manufactured (or a presentation of its concept),
  • an idea of its size, its purpose and the intended target,
  • an idea of quantities and the type of packaging required,
  • any specific requirements in terms of delivery dates.

You can upload all of these elements to the contact us page on our website, or email them to us at info@neamedia.fr

In most cases we will contact you before issuing a quotation, in order to check the main important points, and to outline the various possible options available to you.

5. What documentation do you need to manufacture my items?

Each project is different. We adapt our production to the elements you provide us with, and are used to working from 2D drawings and photos as well as 3D files and plans, etc. Where necessary, we add in a pre-production stage (e.g. graphics or 3D modelling work) that enables you to visualise the object exactly as it will be produced before we launch the project.

6. In terms of production, do you stipulate a minimum order quantity?

Given our network of longstanding and trustworthy partners, we do not tend to operate a minimum order policy. However, it should be kept in mind that we have to contend with the same issues as those experienced by the printing industry: regardless of whether you manufacture 1 or 300 business cards, for example, the initial production costs are identical. To put it simply, the smaller the quantity produced, the higher the fixed costs allocated to this small quantity, thereby resulting in a higher unit price. For example, we would not offer to carry out plastic injection moulding if you only required a very small quantity. However, we always look very carefully at all the technical options open to us, so that you can achieve your project at the best possible price.

7. Do you only work for businesses?

Yes. Our role is to help public or private businesses produce items that are designed to promote their brands to their target markets.

8. How do you deal with the concepts of intellectual property and confidentiality when manufacturing your products?

We have always worked directly for major customers and have plenty of experience in producing licensed items. It is obvious to us that any information passed between us and our customers and any discussions that take place with our customers remain entirely confidential. We are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement, should one be required.

In terms of manufacturing, where the level of confidentiality dictates, we will sometimes suggest manufacturing the various product components in separate factories, before assembling them at our platform in Asia.

9. Are your products delivered packaged?

Your products are packaged in such a way as to protect them and to enhance their perceived value.

We offer several different types, including printed boxes, window boxes, poly bags and flow-packs, etc. We also offer plain white boxes with 4-colour printing if required.

10. Are your prices all-inclusive?

Our prices are “all-inclusive”, with items delivered to your warehouse. Prices include all aspects of our service. You will not be hit by any “hidden extras", like charges for delivery, compliance testing and moulds, or customs duties, etc.

11. Do your products comply with current standards? How do you achieve this compliance?

All our items that we manufacture for you comply with current regulations. Everything we make is subject to compliance testing by recognised inspection laboratories, both during and at the end of the production process.

12. How do your customers use the items you produce?

The items we manufacture are delivered to customers who come from a wide range of activity sectors. Depending on the customer, these items may be designed for marketing or sales promotion purposes (customer loyalty, premiums, corporate gifts, POS displays), for educational purposes (educational items explaining why one solution is being changed for another, demonstration models) or for commercial purposes (spin-off products, reproductions, etc.). All our products comply with current standards and can be designed for any type of target (e.g. professionals, retailers, journalists, buyers, customers, children, general public).

13. On average, how long does it take to manufacture items through batch production?

The manufacturing time varies depending on the specific characteristics of your item. As a rule of thumb, we allow at least one and a half months to design and approve the prototype. We then need to add in time for making the moulds, batch production and delivery. We do our utmost to tailor our efforts to any specific requirements or problems you may have and to find the necessary solutions.

14. Are you able to incorporate technological elements into the items?

We have the skills and expertise required to integrate electronic components into our products. We have already made items that incorporate RFID chips, presence sensors, 2D tags or QR codes, cameras and much more.

Feel free to get in touch if you have a particular idea! info@neamedia.fr

15. Do you work with international customers?

We work with both French businesses and international companies. Our team is used to communicating in English and German. You will be allocated a dedicated advisor who will update you on how your project is progressing and enable you to approve each of the main production stages. We have also successfully carried out several development projects for international customers.
